To the questionable Still that first uttered that quote… we couldn’t agree more, and that is no lie.

Empty space anywhere is a luxury often alluringly fake. A lie, if you will. We call the things aware of you, or soon to be aware, a “Subject”; you are the subject of its eye, and rarely the other way around. While plenty of time could be spent going over the specifics of what exactly qualifies as a Subject, all you must know for now is that if it breathes, thinks, or acts of its own merit… you have found your four-leafed clover. Or, your murderer, should you find yourself without proper protection. That protection, friend, is knowledge.

Before moving on further downwards, a word of the wise: just because it looks like you, speaks your language, or cries for help, does not mean it is your kin.

Conversely, just because it has too many eyes and screams in static doesn't mean it’s rude, and it is terribly bad-mannered to practice unnecessary rudeness.

Behavior Ratings

House Voidseed had a hand (and a shake) in organizing the Behavior Ratings… However, before any true deal for aid was brokered, we found it best to just ensure this section matches what the R&R have. You were warned that you’d see the word “Rating” a lot, yes?

Worry not, we will keep this very short, as Subjects are far more simpler than you’d think. Each Rating will contain our personal (overall, averaged) thoughts on them, gathered through internal surveys.

🟢 DOCILE: those that are relatively cooperative, nigh-harmless, or incapable of truly hurting you… in any meaningful way. We like doing business with them, it is never disadvantageous, however nothing in this world is truly completely safe.

🟡 NEUTRAL: those that are instinctual or follow specific, hardened or loose rules. If we were forced to put all of humanity into one Rating, it would be this one. That should give you an idea of what to expect, yes? If not, and if it helps, we also consider nearly all of the W.S.G. to belong here. Caution… is best.

🔴 HOSTILE: tigers, truly, in nature. This would be the runner-up for all of humanity, if most of us Dealers were forced to be so barbaric with category enforcement. You shouldn’t be surprised if you end up tortured, tricked, killed, harmed, eaten, or otherwise! Many are. Looks can be deceiving, take it from us.

🟣 DIVINE: the Enlightened, Obscured, godlike, et-cetera… We think they believe themselves above the petty squabbles of mortal and immortal affairs in some way, but we beg to differ. Those here are best described as natural disasters or forces of nature. We’re under contract not to say anything else, consult your team’s Dealer, and gain true understanding. Ah, and do not pray to them. That was free advice.

⚫ VILE: no sane Dealer would willingly make a pact with you, of any kind, to escape an irate Subject at this level. I believe the Stills pushed for a kill-on-sight order against these sorts… however we advise something a bit different. Run to their hand, or die by your own. That is all.

Subject Registry

It is only natural to be curious as to how the W.S.G. indexes Subjects. We find numbers for them to be mundane, and so letters were the only other choice. IDs go in alphabetical order, and upon reaching an occupied ID spot, it simply restarts back at A. It sounds complicated, we know, however you’ll understand when you see it for yourself.

We would like to stress that if you come across someone new, please do not provoke it. You represent the W.S.G., which means you represent the House of Voidseed. We simply can’t have you irritating future clients.

Yes, yes and the Quiescent would like it very much if you log the unknown before throwing your life away.
